Closing argument: Prosecution argues Tyler Robinson should go on trial in Charlie Kirk murder case
Utah County prosecutors made their closing argument Sept. 1, 2026, in the preliminary hearing for Tyler Robinson, whom they say fatally shot Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University last year. Robinson, 23, is facing multiple charges, including aggravated murder, in connection with Kirk’s Sept. 10, 2025, death. Prosecutors have said they will seek the death penalty if Robinson is convicted.
