What an NYPD helicopter pilot saw on 9/11
Greg Semendinger was at Floyd Bennett Field when he got the call to head into the sky. A plane had struck the north tower of the World Trade Center. Semendinger was a pilot in the aviation unit for the NYPD. "Basically, it was just for observation to keep the headquarters, appraised of what was going on and to call in other resources if they could be used,” he said. It wasn't the first time he made a trip to the World Trade Center in a chopper. #NY1 #NYC #News -------- For more on this and the latest NYC news: http://specne.ws/Fzi6Q7 Watch live news: http://specne.ws/YTliveSN Get the Spectrum News App on all your favorite devices: http://specne.ws/GetSNApp2
