Maine Bridge Collapse Update with New Drone Footage

In this video, I provide an update about the partial bridge collapse that occurred in Maine for a bridge under construction on the Stillwater Avenue bridge replacement project on August 13, 2026. This video incorporates drone footage that I commissioned that was collected August 29, 2026. This bridge is located in Old Town, Maine over the Stillwater River approximately 1 mile from the University of Maine. The collapse occurred at the mid-point of the northernmost span under construction at 2 PM local time. This video also include a deeper dive on the technical aspects of the composite tub girders based upon my review of additional information.
