The budget aims to stabilize public finances by incorporating essential spending items for health, pensions, and subsidies that were not adequately funded by the previous administration. The proposal rules out a new tax reform and instead focuses on a significant reduction in operating expenses of 40 trillion pesos, which includes merging agencies and ministries to streamline the government.
