‘Get rid of Labor’: WA Liberals open door to One Nation preferences after WA by-election

WA Liberal Leader Basil Zempilas signals the party could preference One Nation ahead of Labor, saying both parties share the same objective of removing the Albanese Government. “Ultimately the common ground between One Nation and the Liberal Party … our common ground and common objective is we both want to get rid of a bad Labor government,” Mr Zempilas told News24 host Sharri Markson. “When it comes to determining your preferences, then we would consider if the candidate is right and the fit is right, we would preference One Nation well above Labor.”
