‘Trifecta of failure’ under Labor’s housing market

Opposition Leader Angus Taylor has slammed Labor’s ‘trifecta of failure’ in the housing market as home values plummet. “What we’ve seen under Labor is a trifecta of failure when it comes to the housing market: higher rents, a collapse in building, less construction and a collapse in confidence,” Mr Taylor told News24 host Sharri Markson. “Labor say they’re doing this because they want to get first home buyers into the market, but we're also seeing a reduction in loan applications for first home buyers. “This is not working for anyone.”
