The National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences has identified nine of the ten people reported killed during a military operation against the dissidents of alias "Calarcá" in El Retorno, Guaviare. Among the deceased are three minors, while one body remains unidentified because it was received incomplete. The Armed Forces carried out an operation against a camp of FARC dissidents commanded by alias "Calarcá" in the municipality of El Retorno, Guaviare. The official count reported ten deaths. The remains were initially taken to San José del Guaviare and later to the Legal Medicine headquarters in Villavicencio, Meta, where autopsies and technical-scientific procedures were performed to establish the victims' identities.
