For the first time since the end of July, the US military has attacked targets in Iran. The targets were two Iranian rocket launchers on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz. The attack was intended to prevent Tehran from launching missiles equipped with sea mines. The Revolutionary Guard responded with ballistic missiles aimed at two US bases in Jordan.
