Daniel, a soccer player, had a history of assaults reported by other women, including in 2019. Despite trying to end the relationship, Thays faced harassment and aggression from Daniel. In one of these episodes, the player broke into her house and assaulted her, but the police were called by a friend of Thays who noticed her distress messages. Daniel was charged with domestic violence, while Thays is seeking protective measures. He denies the accusations and promises to present evidence of his innocence.
