How to get from Brasília to Itiquira Falls in Formosa - GO | Complete Guide and Travel Tips! In this video, I show the entire route from Brasília by car to the impressive Itiquira Falls, located in Formosa, Goiás! One of the largest waterfalls in Brazil with a 168-meter free fall. If you want to know how to get to Itiquira Municipal Park, how much the entrance fee costs, and what the best time to visit is, watch until the end so you don't miss any tips! The Route: I left Brasília and drove for about 1 hour to the city of Formosa (GO). From there to the entrance of the waterfall it was another 40 minutes. The entire route is on paved roads in excellent driving conditions, super easy for any type of car. Entrance Fee: To enter Itiquira Municipal Park, the entrance fee was R$ 20 per person. I went on a weekday and the experience was incredible! There was almost no one there, which guaranteed total tranquility to enjoy nature and take advantage of the various delightful swimming spots along the river. The park closes at 5 PM. Attention: if you wish to do the long trail that leads to the top of the waterfall, entry for that specific hike is only permitted for those who arrive before noon (12 PM).
