Oiapoque - A Cidade Mais Isolada do Brasil

I went to the far north of Brazil to visit Oiapoque, in Amapá — the Brazilian city located right on the border with French Guiana, a French territory in South America. In this video, I show you what this trip was like, from end to end. In addition to exploring the city of Oiapoque, I crossed the river and visited the other side of the border: Saint-Georges de l'Oyapock, on the French side. It's a unique experience — in just a few minutes you leave Brazil and enter Europe, without leaving South America. I also took a boat trip on the Oiapoque River, seeing the Amazon rainforest up close on both sides of the border, and tackled the Pedra do Abacaxi trail, with an incredible view from the top.
