Preparing My Log Cabin for Interior Work — Honey & Sheep
I’m finally starting to prepare my log cabin for interior work. Before beginning the interior, I decided to protect the wooden floor with a matte finish varnish to help preserve its natural look for many years to come. I also finally brought sheep to my small farm, which is located on my land near the cabin. I built a small shed for them and for storing hay. (I didn’t film the entire building process because filming takes a lot of extra time and effort, so I decided to build it without using the camera.) The entire area around the shed is fenced with metal wire mesh, so you don’t need to worry about the sheep escaping or being attacked by wolves. I’m really happy to see my little forest homestead slowly coming to life. Over time, I plan to continue expanding the farm. Last year, I also started learning beekeeping and have been actively studying and practicing it ever since. In this video, I harvested around 8 liters of honey. The honey wasn’t fully capped yet, so the main harvest will happen a little later. I’ve been thinking that some of you might enjoy trying honey made right here in my forest. Because of that, I’ve started considering opening a very small honey shop in the future. Let me know if you like this idea. I’ve already started designing my bed, which I’ll begin building in the next video. But for now, I want to take a little rest and maybe go on a small journey somewhere.
