Police have issued a public arrest warrant for a Vietnamese man in connection with a stabbing and robbery case that occurred in June of this year in an underground shopping area near Tennoji Station. The man publicly wanted on suspicion of attempted robbery and murder is Quang Van Jiao, a Vietnamese national. He is suspected of stabbing a Vietnamese woman in the chest and other areas with a knife-like object and stealing a bag containing cash and other valuables in the Abechika underground shopping area in Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, in June of this year. Police have already arrested three people, two men and one woman, who are believed to be the perpetrators. However, after the incident, Quang was captured on security camera footage at an interchange on a highway in the Kanto region driving the getaway car, and he is believed to have been the driver. Quang is approximately 160 cm tall, and his whereabouts have not been confirmed since he was captured on security camera footage in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, on July 31st.
