MTA worker attacked by urinating man at NYC station sparks calls for protections | NBC New York
The public transit union is pushing NYC to do more to protect MTA workers after an employee was attacked trying to stop someone from violating the law. A subway cleaner stopped a man who was urinating at the end of a platform at the Times Square station. According to investigators, the suspect slashed the worker multiple times on the left arm before escaping on a southbound one train. Gus Rosendale reports.
