BANGKAPOS.COM - IRGC Destroys US Military Site in Erbil, Destroying Fuel Tanks & US Military Systems Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims it launched a missile and drone attack on a United States military base in Erbil, Iraq. The IRGC said several US military facilities and systems were destroyed in the attack. They also claimed that fuel tanks at the base were set on fire and that several US troops were injured. In addition, IRGC ground forces reportedly destroyed a US military maintenance center and a US technical equipment warehouse in Erbil. The IRGC also claimed to have destroyed the navigation system of an American surveillance balloon stationed at the base. The attack reportedly occurred when repeated explosions were heard in several areas of Erbil, amid reports of warplanes flying overhead. Previously, the IRGC also claimed to have attacked Camp Titan, a US Marine Corps base in Jordan, using ballistic missiles. According to the IRGC, the attack killed a large number of US troops and destroyed several key facilities and attack helicopters at the base. This series of attacks is said to be part of Iran's retaliatory operations against United States military assets, following the escalating conflict between the two countries.
