Rescue efforts in Nepal are hampered by heavy rain, with almost 2,500 people still missing following devastating flash floods. At least 626 people are confirmed dead in Nepal, while seven have died and 554 remain missing in Tibet, according to Chinese state media. The UK is sending a rapid response team to Kathmandu to support British nationals and their families affected by the disaster, with 33 people from the UK among those still missing.
