Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor in 2 Incredible Days

We’re spending 2 days exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, Maine, and this trip has everything—beautiful hikes, coastal views, incredible food, and an unforgettable lobster experience. We start our trip in Bar Harbor with coffee at Choco-Latte, followed by a must-have stop at Mount Desert Ice Cream. Then we walk the Bar Island Land Bridge, a natural sandbar that only appears at low tide. For dinner, we visit Project Social Kitchen & Bar, where the star of the night is the lobster crepe—hands down one of the best meals we’ve had in Maine. The next morning, we head into Acadia National Park to hike the park’s most challenging trail: the Perception Trail. After that, we drive through the park, stop at Sand Beach, visit Jordan Pond, and enjoy the famous popovers at the Jordan Pond House. Later, we take our reservation drive up to Cadillac Mountain for stunning views before grabbing lobster rolls at The Traveling Lobster. On our final day, we head to Corea, Maine, for a personal lobstering experience with Catch Your Dinner Lobster Tours. Dan takes us sightseeing for seals, a lighthouse, and then out to haul in two lobster traps. Afterward, we bring our fresh catch to Lunch on the Wharf, where they boil our lobster—and we order a few extra goodies from the menu.
