Gameplay Features: Enhanced Visuals & Performance: Upgraded graphics, improved lighting, higher-resolution assets, optimized performance modes, and targeted performance upgrades across platforms, including native support for the new Nintendo Switch 2 release. Combat & Movement Overhauls: Revamped combat mechanics, new Witcher Sign effects, updated finisher animations, and smoother player traversal and movement. Gameplay Adjustments: Rebalanced skill tree, improved mount (Roach) handling, a built-in transmogrification system, and enhanced monster AI behaviors. Expansion Mechanics: Set in the brand new rural region of Letten, Geralt wields a new weapon type (the whip/chain) alongside new magical abilities, new Gwent card content, fresh enemy types, and a brand-new 5-track mini-album score written specifically for the expansion. Expanded Photo Mode: Upgraded tools for capturing custom in-game screenshots, featuring new lens controls and lighting settings. Release Date and Platforms: The Remastered launches September 29, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Battle.net.
