Se desmantela la paz total: reactivan órdenes de captura contra gestores de paz del Gobierno Petro

The Attorney General's Office has reactivated arrest warrants against members of armed groups who had been recognized as peace facilitators during the previous administration, a decision that marks a new shift away from the policy of total peace. Among those affected is Alexander Díaz, alias Calarcá, accused by the Attorney General's Office of multiple crimes, including homicide, massacres, forced recruitment, disappearance, and kidnapping. Arrest warrants were also reactivated against other members of the General Staff of Blocs and Fronts, the National Coordinating Committee of the Bolivarian Army, and the Self-Defense Forces of the Sierra Nevada. This decision comes as the dismantling of judicial measures that benefited members of armed groups continues and after the government revoked their designations as peace facilitators.
