Former Labor advisor Darrin Barnett admits Anika Wells’ comparison between Australia’s housing crisis and Ooshies risks coming across as deeply patronising to voters struggling with housing costs. “For those who don’t have kids and don’t care about Ooshies, it’s confusing at best and patronising at worst,” Mr Barnett told News24 host Paul Murray. “You’ve got to be careful how you play these things.”
