Psychiatrist Explains Lindsay Clancy’s Mental Evaluation

Psychiatrist Dr. Sejal Shah took the stand Monday in the trial of Lindsay Clancy. Shah testified about treating Clancy during her hospitalization following the January 2023 deaths of her three children in their Massachusetts home. She discussed the medical team’s efforts to monitor Clancy’s condition, evaluate her mental state and determine appropriate treatment. Shah also testified about a DNR, or do-not-resuscitate order, and the events surrounding that decision during Clancy’s hospital stay.
