Over the years, I've managed to document every type of tornado—from massive wedges and landspouts to satellite tornadoes, anticyclonic tornadoes, QLCS tornadoes, and multiple-vortex tornadoes. In this video, we'll explore how tornadoes are classified, including the two broad categories of mesocyclonic and non-mesocyclonic tornadoes, and how their behavior, location within a storm, and appearance can vary dramatically.
