Sounds nice. But in reality: “It’s about making these campuses look right, using them to make your college catalog look more colorful,” says Jason Riley of The Wall Street Journal. “It’s not about learning.” Mismatching students and schools only hurt minority kids. "They're being set up to fail," says Riley. "It's not working!" It wasn't, and now schools finally acknowledge that. Columbia admits test scores were a "useful indicator." No kidding.
