The immigration fraud used against Filipe Martins involved four U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials and three Brazilian representatives, at least two of whom were Federal Police delegates. Documents made public by Judge Gregory A. Presnell indicate that the false record was entered into American systems and directly harmed Martins, who was even arrested based on this information. The names of those involved are still under seal, but the judge intends to make them public in the coming weeks.
