TSE julga uso de deepfake em campanhas eleitorais

Brazil's Superior Electoral Court (TSE) is expected to define one of the central themes of this year's election on Tuesday night (1st): how deepfakes should be used by campaigns. Ministers of the TSE have privately indicated that the Court is likely to maintain the veto on the use of AI-generated videos when the content presents a degree of realism, whether creating real, fictional, or deceased people. The high degree of realism in the manipulation should weigh heavily in defining a deepfake.
