An acute hepatitis C cluster outbreak has occurred in Banqiao District, New Taipei City! The Antai Songhe Clinic in the area has reportedly identified 11 confirmed cases, all of whom contracted hepatitis C after receiving injections at the clinic. Remarkably, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Health Bureau conducted two inspections, discovering numerous deficiencies at the clinic, including leaving needles in the soft stoppers of medicine bottles and storing syringes under the bed.
