Lawyer Mauricio Restrepo explained the number of weeks of contributions men and women must have by April 1, 2027, to be covered by the so-called "protection" against changes to the system. According to him, men with 900 weeks and women with 750 weeks by that date could maintain the conditions of the current system, so he recommended reviewing their work history and verifying their contribution weeks.
