PART ONE OF THE REPORT: • IMMERSION À CEUTA In this second part of my report from Ceuta, the day after my arrival, I went to the southern border of the Spanish enclave, facing Morocco, where thousands of migrants crossed during the migration crisis. There, I discovered the still-visible traces of the crossings: life jackets and buoys, survival blankets abandoned on the beach, while Spanish forces continue to monitor the area. In the space of about an hour, I witnessed the deportation of some thirty people to Morocco by the Spanish military. The operations were carried out without violence, but with firmness. Some tried to negotiate to remain in Ceuta; others wept at the thought of returning to Morocco. I also met several Moroccans who had arrived in Ceuta, who spoke of their fear of being arrested by the police and their hope of being able to stay in Europe to build a better life. I also gave a voice to the residents of Ceuta, some of whom were deeply troubled by this influx of migrants and denounced a situation they considered uncontrollable. Finally, I met a Franco-Spanish identitarian activist, Raphaël Ayma, who had come to Ceuta to observe the situation and oppose what he called a "migrant invasion." He explained his interpretation of the events and the reasons for his presence there. A report filmed directly on the ground, at the border between Spain and Morocco, to understand what really happened in Ceuta beyond the images circulating on social media. 📍 Ceuta – Morocco/Spain border #Ceuta #Morocco #Spain #Immigration #Migration #Migrants #Border #Report #Journalism 00:00 - Introduction: Initial tensions at the border 00:19 - Cultural interlude: Analysis of major works of art (Sponsor: Calos) 04:48 - Back on the ground: The profile of new arrivals 06:46 - Heading south: The main crossing point 07:31 - Ceuta by day: A seaside resort under pressure 08:17 - Residents' testimonies: "We live in fear" 09:21 - Meeting with migrants: Language barrier and aspirations 11:17 - Geography of the border: Fnideq (Morocco) facing Ceuta (Spain) 12:20 - Observation of the military and police presence 13:41 - At the border: The Airlock between two worlds 3:30 PM - Analysis of the swimming crossing and the risks of drowning 5:21 PM - Live deportations: The group of 16 sent back to Morocco 9:20 PM - Why are some returning voluntarily? 22:37 - The hypothesis of the "green light" from Moroccan authorities 24:00 - Calculating the actual migration flow vs. official figures 27:26 - The limits of military power: "We don't have the right to ask for papers" 29:12 - Meeting with "Charlie Chaplin" and testimonies from young migrants 32:10 - Immersion in the El Príncipe neighborhood 33:15 - Interview with Raphaël Ayma: Identity and security issues 37:08 - The absurdity of the "physical border": The story of the buoy 39:00 - Pedro Sanchez's migration policy and diplomatic tensions with Morocco 41:37 - Conclusion: Seouta, an undeniably Spanish city 🕺 FOLLOW ME ON ALL MY SOCIAL MEDIA: https://beacons.ai/vincentlapierre ➡️ To contact me (partnerships, suggestions, etc.): contact@lemediapourtous.fr ⚠️ WARNING: The opinions expressed in this video by the interviewee(s) are solely those of the interviewee(s) and do not necessarily reflect my views. ❌ ERRATUM If you spot a factual error in this video, please let us know (at contact@lemediapourtous.fr).
