Next week will begin with still-high temperatures, especially in central and southern Italy, where the heat will remain above the seasonal average. However, between Wednesday, September 2nd and Thursday, September 3rd, an unstable transition is expected to the north, with possible thunderstorms and a temporary drop in temperatures. The respite will be short-lived: in the second half of the week, the anticyclone will strengthen again, bringing sunshine and warmth to much of the peninsula.
