PDIP Vs Dua Menteri Prabowo, Adu Mulut soal Klaim Pemerintah Ekonomi Tumbuh Cepat

The House of Representatives Budget Committee (DPR RI) working meeting was bombarded with interruptions by Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa and National Development Planning Minister Rachmat Pambudy during the follow-up deliberations on the 2027 Draft State Budget (RAPBN) on Thursday (August 27, 2026). A member of the DPR Budget Committee (Banggar) from the PDIP faction questioned the government's claims of rapid economic growth and welfare. However, according to the PDI-P faction, the facts on the ground contradict the government's claims. One example is the high growth, with the average worker's income still reported at Rp 3.5 million, compared to Purbaya's claim that the national average was Rp 8.2 million. "So who is actually enjoying this high growth? The average worker earns Rp 3.5 million, while the national average is Rp 8.2 million. There's a gap," criticized Dolfie Othniel Palit, a member of the DPR Budget Committee from the PDI-P faction. Dolfie also highlighted Bappenas' claim of rapid fiscal growth. Dolfie questioned where the rapid growth lies, when poverty reduction, the Gini ratio, the farmer's exchange rate, and job creation are all slowing down. Watch the full video below.
