IEC engages traditional leaders on elections

The IEC says traditional leaders play a central role in ensuring a climate conducive for free and fair elections to be held. This comes as the Electoral commission met with the leadership of the Congress of Traditional Leaders (CONTRALESA) today in Kempton Park, Gauteng. The electoral management body shared its elections roadmap up until November 4 with the country's kings and queens, which forms part of its ongoing outreach programme aimed at bringing stakeholders on board in relation to its work.
