Orengo presidential bid jolts Linda Mwananchi

Siaya Governor James Orengo's recent declaration that he is also in the race for the Linda Mwananchi presidential ticket appears to have jolted the opposition camp. A section of members within the outfit now claims Orengo is out to spoil the ambitions of Nairobi Senator and Linda Mwananchi principal Edwin Sifuna, who has already declared his interest in the top seat. However, Orengo, who spoke to Citizen TV, has scoffed at those opposed to his ambition, saying internal democracy should be allowed. As Emmanuel Too now reports, a section of leaders within Linda Mwananchi says the decision on who should be their presidential candidate has already been settled.
