Más de 260 municipios se manifiestan por Ceuta este 2 de septiembre

More than 260 municipalities across Spain have prepared to demonstrate for Ceuta this Wednesday, September 2nd, coinciding with Ceuta Day, and have issued a call to defend the city following the mass influx of migrants on July 30th. "An opportunity for all Spaniards to feel more united than ever," declared the President of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, in an appeal to his fellow citizens. The "For Ceuta" initiative, which originated on social media and is supported by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), has coordinated demonstrations in town halls throughout the country, most scheduled for 8:00 PM, in addition to a specific event in Madrid in front of the Congress of Deputies and another in Brussels, in front of the European Parliament.
