6 HOURS on Indonesia's Luxury Class Train 🇮🇩 (Was It Worth It?)

We tried Indonesia's Luxury Class train for the very first time, the Taksaka train from Jakarta to Yogyakarta and put the whole 6-hour journey through Java to the test: is the food good, is the service good, and is it actually worth it? From the moment we stepped into the Luxury Lounge at the station, this felt more like a first-class flight than a train ride. Fully reclining leather seats, a full meal service, unlimited tea and snacks, USB charging, headphones, and some of the most stunning scenery in Java , rice paddies, volcanoes and a sunset that lit up the mountains as we rolled through. For just £57 each (around Rp 1.3 million), we were genuinely blown away by what Kereta Api Indonesia's Luxury Class (kereta eksekutif luxury) has to offer.
