Ontario's Doug Ford tells 'dictator' Donald Trump: 'Kiss my ass'

Ontario Premier Doug Ford unleashed a broadside against President Donald Trump, calling him a “dictator” and “the king of bankruptcies” after the United States imposed a 50 percent tariff on a range of Canadian goods. At a press conference Monday, Ford was asked about a Truth Social post Trump published earlier that day. In the post, the Republican president dismissed Ford as a blustering “flunky” and reaffirmed his tariff strategy, declaring that the U.S. had been “carrying Canada for decades, but no longer!” “I don't respond to a dictator like President Trump, a bully like President Trump,” Ford replied. “I'm not gonna take any advice off a guy that's the king of bankruptcies.” Ford had previously told Trump to “kiss my a**” in a radio interview, and he made clear at Monday’s press conference that he stood by the remark.
