SUSPECTS CAUGHT: Following lengthy police chase through streets of Downtown Los Angeles

Police were in pursuit of an SUV traveling at high speeds carrying at least one robbery suspect that started in Glendale on Tuesday afternoon. The pursuit began around 3:30 p.m. The Los Angeles Police Department confirms the driver of the SUV being chased by officers is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Highland Park. The vehicle traveled on the wrong side of the road, ran stop lights and was throwing items out of a rear passenger-side window. The driver of the SUV in that pursuit has crashed and tried to flee on foot, but was chased down by officers. One other suspect involved in that pursuit has also been taken into custody in Echo Park.
