Yolanda Díaz and the Ministry of Labor have assessed the new unemployment figures for August, when unemployment rose by 44,419 people, a 1.92% increase compared to July, reaching 2,355,918 unemployed. Despite the monthly increase, the Ministry of Labor emphasizes that this is the lowest unemployment level recorded for an August since 2007. Furthermore, compared to August 2015, unemployment has decreased by 70,593 people, a 2.91% drop.
