The leader of the People's Party (PP), Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has stated that he has known since April that the Madrid government, led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, was looking for a place for a "temporary relocation" of the Presidency's secretariat and cabinet team while renovations were carried out at the Royal Post Office building in Puerta del Sol, the seat of the regional government. He added that a property was purchased which, "it seems," "cannot be used as an office."
