Australia's GDP grew 0.4 per cent in the June quarter, reaching an annual growth rate of 2.1 per cent, slightly higher than economists expected. The Commonwealth Bank has forecast a 9 per cent average decline in house prices nationally before recovery next year, with Sydney and Melbourne expected to see drops of 13 per cent and 12 per cent respectively.
