They are militant and ideologically committed: the new, young neo-Nazi scene. More and more young people are joining far-right groups, such as the "Young Nationalists." According to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, attempts at influencing the far right now even reach elementary schools. This includes the "Last Wave of Defense," which specifically recruited young people and incited them to violence against political opponents. Now, its leaders have been sentenced to several years in prison for offenses including attempted murder and membership in a terrorist organization.
