I’m putting some of the best perennial ryegrass cultivars on the market to the test! In this video, I break down the perennial ryegrass cultivars I chose for my long-term turf plots and why each one made the cut. These are cultivars that have caught my attention through NTEP performance, color, turf quality, disease resistance, genetics, and overall reputation. But instead of just looking at numbers on a chart, I wanted to see how they actually perform in MY lawn, under MY conditions here in Northern Illinois.
