In connection with the attempted robbery and murder case that occurred in an underground shopping area near JR Tennoji Station in Osaka, it has been revealed that in addition to the three Vietnamese nationals already arrested, another person believed to be an accomplice was captured on security camera footage. Nguyen Huu Trong, a 25-year-old Vietnamese national, is suspected of conspiring with the already arrested man and woman to stab a woman with a knife-like object and steal her bag in June of this year in the Abechika underground shopping area in Osaka. According to police, through investigations using security camera footage, they identified the getaway car and arrested Nguyen at an apartment complex in Chiba Prefecture where he was hiding. Police have not disclosed whether Nguyen has admitted to the charges. Furthermore, it has been reported that another person believed to be an accomplice was captured on security camera footage in addition to the three arrested individuals.
