The US military has attacked Iranian military facilities again, escalating the exchange of attacks. President Trump posted on social media that "if Iran retaliates, they will face even more intense and larger attacks." Meanwhile, Iranian media reported on November 1st that a US missile attack damaged a building where a wedding was taking place in Hormuzgan province in southern Iran, killing four people, including a four-year-old child, and injuring 50. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it had retaliated by attacking a US military base in Jordan with ballistic missiles. They claim that this resulted in the deaths of numerous US military personnel and the destruction of several critical facilities and attack helicopters. According to Reuters, U.S. officials said there were no American casualties from the attack on Jordan. Amidst this heightened tension in the Middle East, concerns about crude oil supply intensified in the New York crude oil market on the 1st, leading to a surge in buy orders.
