Mamdani releases a documentary about one of NYC’s worst landlords

Mamdani’s new documentary follows residents in a Pinnacle Group building that has racked up thousands of complaints and violations, showing what life is like when a landlord lets a property fall into disrepair. The same tenants featured in the film were among the first residents Mamdani visited on Inauguration Day, when he made protecting renters one of the central promises of his administration.
