Pilandok intensifies, may become tropical storm by Tuesday — PAGASA

Tropical Depression Pilandok has slightly intensified and is expected to develop into a tropical storm by Tuesday, PAGASA said on Monday, Aug. 31. Pilandok, along with two other weather disturbances, is enhancing the southwest monsoon or “habagat,” bringing monsoon rains over parts of Luzon.
