Last year, our scene was shocked by the loss of one of its most talented producers and a friend to many to brain cancer. Although I never knew him personally, his music had always touched my soul in ways that I had only ever felt a few times before. His death affected me in a way I didn't expect it to, so I began curating this set to honour his legacy and express the sense of grief his music brought me when hearing of his passing. Built around the feelings I believe one experiences when losing someone, Anderholm's incredibly emotional and final piece, 'See How It Ends', was the centrepiece and encapsulates the heartfelt sounds you will hear throughout the mix. I hope to take you on a journey of emotions through grief, sadness and loss, but also hope, happiness and celebration as you listen, and I hope you cry as much as I did while putting this all together. Yevhen’s music will live on through the lives of those it continues to touch as it did mine.
