LEBEYA EXPOSES MALCOLM X WARNING DURING KATISO MOLEFE TAKEDOWN OPERATION

New testimony from Lebeya has brought fresh details about the Katiso Molefe takedown operation on 6 December 2024. Lebeya says he received a call from Malcolm X, whom he described as a police informant. According to Lebeya, X told him that people were at an address in Sandton, claiming to be Hawks officials acting on Lebeya’s instructions. Lebeya says X told him he had received information about the operation from a friend, but did not reveal that person’s name. He says Malcolm X did not tell him that he was at the scene. By the end of the call, Lebeya says he suspected the people could be imposters posing as Hawks officials. Lebeya also maintains that he played no role in placing Karl Sander on temporary placement following an alleged anonymous complaint. He says he only learnt about Sander’s temporary placement after receiving Commission bundles while preparing for his testimony.
