He indicated a policy of aiming to form a unified parliamentary group in the House of Representatives, based on the premise that the Centrist Alliance will effectively split into members from the Constitutional Democratic Party and members from Komeito. The Centrist Alliance, which was formed just before the dissolution of the House of Representatives in January, is now heading towards a split after only about seven months.
