In connection with a robbery and attempted murder case in June of this year in an underground shopping mall in Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, involving a Vietnamese woman, another Vietnamese man has been arrested. The arrested suspect, Nguyen Huu Trong (25), who is unemployed and has no fixed address, is suspected of conspiring with Lo Nhat Tam (33), a Vietnamese national who has already been arrested, to stab a 31-year-old Vietnamese woman in the chest and neck with a knife-like object in June of this year in the Abechika underground shopping mall in Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, and steal a bag containing approximately 220,000 yen in cash. The suspects were traveling between the Kanto region and Osaka by car, and police arrested Nguyen two days ago at a hiding place in Chiba Prefecture.
