UK foreign minister pledges 'measures' against Israel West Bank settlement plan
UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband said the government “will not acquiesce in the destruction of the two-state solution” and pledged “a comprehensive set of measures” to counter Israeli settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank. Speaking in parliament after weeks of escalating attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian villages in the occupied territory, Miliband condemned “appalling settler terrorism”.
